I have been a fan of Testive’s SAT Habit since they were a fledgling startup, and I am really impressed with how far they have come over the last few months. The SAT Habit is an extremely robust software that provides students with a large amount of data that they can use to prepare for the SAT. The SAT is a major obstacle for many students, and I hope that Testive can play a large role in minimizing that barrier .
Below you will find a brief demo video describing the basic functionality of the software. I would like to hear your initial thoughts, and welcome your feedback in the comment section below.
Are you leery of the SAT Habit? Do you think that this is just another startup trying to capitalize on the education space? I have a good feeling about this company, and I want to put my money where my mouth is. My goal is to conduct research over the next 6-12 months to validate the effectiveness (or ineffectiveness) of the software. During the experimentation phase I will work with two different sets of students One group will receives virtual coaching from a tutor and second group will work through the SAT Habit on their own. One of my objectives is to assess the effectiveness of integrating a human coach/tutor into the preparation program. I want to determine the most efficient/cost effective way to utilize the software, and one way to do so is by identifying a few best practices.
If you are interested in participating in this study please fill out the form below. I will not be charging for my services, but the students will need to purchase the software license. Each participant will receive a discount on the software license, and I will work to find a sponsor for those students that cannot afford the licensing fee.
